Tom Nartker comes to FOX 19 News after spending time working in Columbus and Lima. He is a graduate of Ohio State, worked at the student run radio station, and interned in the sports department at WCMH. After college he worked at WSYX in Columbus contributing in both news and sports as an editor and producer. He left Columbus for WLIO in Lima where he worked as a sports anchor and reporter for six years. In 2005 he left WLIO and helped launch a daily half hour high school sports show at WTLW and co-hosted the Buckeye Tailgate on 1150 WIMA radio. In 2006 he returned to WLIO as news reporter and photographer.
Tom has received first place awards from the Ohio Associated Press for Best Enterprise Reporting in 2008, Best Feature Reporting in 2012, and Best Photographer in 2008, 2009, and 2012.
Tom is glad to be in Cincinnati and is a lifelong Bengals and Reds fan. He also roots on the Ohio State Buckeyes and Columbus Blue Jackets. In his spare time enjoys camping, golfing, softball, and sand volleyball. If you see him walking his dog Brutus please be sure to say hello.
