AMELIA, OH (FOX19) - An Amelia man was indicted for a string of burglaries and breaking and entering charges Friday. Nicholas Tyler Samad, 22, has been indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury for five counts of burglary, a second degree felony, and three counts of breaking and entering, a fifth degree felony. He is currently incarcerated in the Clermont County Jail.
The burglaries occurred throughout February 2012 into the first week of June 2012 in the northern portion of Monroe Township, specifically State Route 222, Lindale, Mt.. Holly, Hulington Road, Shady Lane, Hillcrest Drive, and Berry Road.
Sheriff's investigators have recovered $5,700 worth of stolen property, including GPS units, computers, game systems, power tools, hand tools, generators, and a large amount of jewelry. Investigators will continue to review reports of theft from surrounding townships to see if there are any additional cases in which Samad may have been involved.
