Cincinnati, OH (FOX19) - The Reds won't have Joey Votto back on the field quite as soon as they expected. Tom Groeschen of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports Votto had a second procedure on his injured knee Friday that could keep him out an additional 7-10 days.
Votto experienced soreness recently which an MRI revealed to be caused by a floating piece of cartilage. Votto originally had surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
Votto has been out since July 16th.
