Thousands of animals for sale at reptile show

MASON, OH (FOX19) -

The Cin City Reptile Show gave all those in attendance the chance to not only get up close and personal with thousands of different species of reptiles, but the chance to bring one home as well.

For $5 reptile lovers could come out to the show at the Kings Island Resort and Conference center to learn about all things reptilian. Peter Rushton is an expert in the area and held an informational session where he discussed the basics from handling to husbandry and conservation.  There was also an auction to support the United States Association of Reptile Keepers.

Thousands of non-venomous snakes, lizards, amphibians, spiders, small mammals as well as supplies like feeders were available for purchase below wholesale prices.  Breeders were on hand to allow the public to hold the animals and to ask questions.

The Cin City Reptile Show will be back on September 9, October 7, November 4, and December 9.
