Passersby warn neighbor about Westwood house fire

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A cat is rescued from a Westwood house fire Monday morning.

Just after 11:00 a.m., fire crews were called to the rear apartment of a building in the 3200 block of Queen City Avenue.

The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes.

Only the apartment the fire started in was damaged.

The fire caused two adults and one child to be displaced.

Cause of the fire is under investigation by the Cincinnati Fire Departments Fire Investigations Unit.

Damage is estimated at $15,000.

No one was in the apartment when the fire started but a neighbor that was asleep inside another apartment in the building was alerted to the fire by passersby.

No one was hurt.
