COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - The Partnership for a Drug-Free Ohio received the Alliance Achievement Award on Tuesday from the Partnership at Drugfree.org.
The award recognizes partners who use innovative ways to increase media support and raise awareness about substance abuse.
"Educating the public about the health risks of drug and alcohol abuse is vitally important work," wrote Partnership CEO Stephen J. Pasierb in a letter notifying ODADAS of the award. "Partnership for a Drug-Free Ohio is truly making a difference in the lives of countless families."
The Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) coordinates the Partnership's activities in the state and uses education programs to promote solutions to the opiate epidemic.
