Suburban man busted with kiddie porn, hidden camera

NORTH OLMSTED, OH (WOIO) -

A suburban man is facing dozens of charges for trading kiddie porn and spying with a hidden camera, trading kidding porn and making his own videos.

Investigators say a hidden camera gave a creep a window to a world he should have never seen, a teenage girl's privacy, taping her in the bathroom.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutors just filed 66 charges against Michael Young.  Some for peeping on a child, many more for trading kiddie porn.

We broke the news to neighbors around Young's home on Chapel Hill in North Olmsted.

According to one neighbor, "About 6 weeks ago we saw a lot of cops there for about an hour and a half but at that time we didn't know what it was about."

No answer when we went to the house, just an angry dog.  But we saw some kids play equipment inside and out.

Prosecutors say investigators went to Young's house to seize computers for kidding porn and they found the camera.

"He had a tiny littler camera, and it had a storage device inside and we did our on site forensics and found videos he had tape himself," said John Hanley, Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor.

Investigators don't think Young was sending his hidden camera video out.

"We found he had over 200 videos and he had them stored actually locked up in a safe," Hanley said.
