A North College Hill police officer is in some hot water this morning after he is accused of running used car businesses to launder money from marijuana sales. Officer Bryon Roos is just one of the 11 suspects arrested after the group allegedly conspired to bring hundreds of kilograms of marijuana from Texas to Cincinnati. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more on the indictments at 5 a.m.
A Fraternity fireworks battle has sparked an even bigger investigation at Miami University in Oxford. With their houses sitting less than 100 feet apart, members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity decided to create a fireworks firing range between the two buildings. While there were no major fires ignited, police did find large amounts of drugs and paraphernalia inside of the homes.
