WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati Police Officer was injured after a confrontation with an unruly teenager.
The officer responded to the Four Towers ace Apartments off of Queen City Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning when a mother reported that her runaway daughter was at that location.
When the officer responded, the 13-year-old girl became unruly and struggled with the officer. Police say they had to use force to subdue the teen, but no shots were fired and the officer did not deploy his taser.
The officer suffered a cut to his arm. The girl was taken to Children's Hospital for evaluation.
The officer's name has not been released. So far, no charges have been filed.
