HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton man was indicted on a public indecency charge by a Butler County grand jury on Wednesday.

Michael Hamblin, 43, was arrested on July 17 after authorities say he exposed himself to children among other victims.

Hamblin was previously found guilty of exposing himself in front of a 9-year-old girl in a department store. The girl's parents pushed for a law to strengthen the penalties for repeat sex offenders after his conviction. Former Gov. Bob Taft signed the bill into law before leaving office.

Hamblin has also been accused of trying to lure children into the woods in a Warren County park.

"I'm certainly going to prosecute the hell out of him," said Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser.

His most recent charge is a fifth degree felony.
