A woman was in court Tuesday morning after police say she hit and killed a motorcyclist on northbound I-75 and then fled the scene. Full Story >
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A Cincinnati woman pleads no contest to the death of a motorcycle rider.
It happened in June on 2012.
Police say Brittany Ison, 20, rear-ended a motorcycle driven by Jason Claypool, 39, while traveling northbound on I-75 near the exit to I-74.
Claypool struck the guardrail. He was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
Officers say that after the crash, Ison left the scene.
In court on Thursday, Ison plead no contest to vehicular manslaughter, vehicular homicide and failure to stop.
