Cincy woman pleads no contest in hit & skip crash

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati woman pleads no contest to the death of a motorcycle rider.

It happened in June on 2012.

Police say Brittany Ison, 20, rear-ended a motorcycle driven by Jason Claypool, 39, while traveling northbound on I-75 near the exit to I-74.

Claypool struck the guardrail. He was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.

Officers say that after the crash, Ison left the scene.

In court on Thursday, Ison plead no contest to vehicular manslaughter, vehicular homicide and failure to stop.

She will be sentenced on October 24.
