Settlement reached after cameras taken at Steve Chabot event

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - One year after a Cincinnati police officer took cameras at a town hall meeting hosted by Rep. Steve Chabot, the City and the citizens have reached a settlement.

The city of Cincinnati apologized and wants to make sure citizens have the right to film public events in the future.

A woman whose camera was confiscated said she appreciates the apology but says Chabot should apologize as well. She also said the officer was polite during the incident.
