ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Three suspects have been arrested and charged with aggravated burglary in Anderson Township on Friday.
Police say two suspects knocked on the door of an apartment in Anderson Township around 1:25 p.m. Aug. 10.
A 23-year-old woman who lives at the apartment in the Goldengate Apartment Complex answered the door around 1:25 p.m. to see a known suspect, John Hyden, 26. Hyden had his arms in the air as if he was being robbed. A second suspect, Rick Wright, 24, was brandishing a firearm and had his face covered with a red bandana as he forced his way into the apartment.
Wright screamed, "Where's the money?" to a 28-year-old male tenant before the two struggled. During the struggle, Wright's bandana came off and the tenants realized they knew both suspects.
The suspects fled from the apartment and Wright jumped into a black Mazda being driven by Tara Drewry, 40. The two tenants attempted to follow the Mazda before losing sight of the vehicle.
Hyden fled on foot running through a creek bed.
Hyden was arrested on Aug. 22 on an outstanding warrant for aggravated burglary. Wright was arrested on Aug. 14 on an aggravated burglary charge. He was indicted by the Hamilton County Grand Jury on Aug. 23 for aggravated burglary and robbery. Tara Drewry was arrested on Aug. 22 for an outstanding warrant for aggravated burglary.
