Reds retire number 11, honor Larkin

The Cincinnati Reds retired number 11 in a ceremony Saturday.  Barry Larkin wore the number for his 19-year career in Cincinnati, including the year 1990 when he lead the team to win the World Series.

Larkin addressed fans in the before the Reds took on the St. Louis Cardinals Saturday evening.  Number 11 hangs on the wall next to Larkin's idol, David Concepcion's number 13.

The event is part of Barry Larkin weekend at Great American Ballpark which capped off the  "11 days of Larkin" event celebrating the newly inducted Hall of Famer.
