CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby is offering a six figure financial reward for information leading to the recovery of Stacy Peterson.

Peterson has been missing since Oct. 2007. She was the wife of Drew Peterson, a Chicago-area police officer who is now on trial for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004.

Ruby had been attending Peterson's trial in Chicago before he was escorted out of the courtroom last week for mouthing an expletive at Peterson. He became involved in the Peterson case after he ran an advertisement in Chicago newspapers calling Peterson's attorneys 'disgusting' for a press interview they gave.

"Three attorney's say (Stacy Peterson) is not dead, she just took off. She should be on the witness list. Like Whitney Houston should be on the witness list," said Ruby. "(Stacy's) family knows she's dead, so I'm not breaking their hearts."

Ruby will add $100,000 to the already $25,000 being offered.

"We think somebody knows something and they were afraid to come forward. And $100,000 quite frankly makes people get a little more brave," said Ruby.

Ruby has also kicked O.J. Simpson out of his Louisville steakhouse and ran ads in the Orlando newspaper after Casey Anthony was acquitted of murdering her daughter.
