CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
The New Orleans Saints are in the Queen City as Tropical Storm Isaac makes its way to the Gulf.
The players, coaches and staff arrived late Monday night to the Hyatt hotel in downtown Cincinnati.
The team will practice at Paul Brown Stadium Tuesday and Wednesday before leaving Wednesday evening for Nashville. The Saints play the Titans Thursday night for pre-season football.
Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis says the team was unable to find a hotel to accommodate the team in Nashville.
"The hotel situation in Cincinnati is easy because everything is so close and so it really logistically works out well," said Lewis.
Bengals fans are happy to see the team in town and think it's smart for the NFL to have a contingency plan.
"I think it's a great idea because it just starts the whole season for the football year this year with the Bengals, it just adds to the excitement," said Mike Marchioni.
"New Orleans has had it pretty bad because of this before so I'm sure anything that anybody can do to help them out I think we'll do," said Eric Koch.
"I think it's interesting to share a facility with two teams just based on the secrets your trying to keep secret but I guess they have something figured out."
The Saints will not practice with the Bengals and have to work around the Bengals already scheduled practices.
