CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - University of Cincinnati students held an Obama for America-Ohio campus kick-off on Tuesday.
Students volunteers urged others to get involved in the campaign and said the Romney-Ryan Plan would devastate college students by allowing interest rates on Stafford Loans to double and cutting funding for Pell grants.
Students asked how Ohio's young people could get the jobs of tomorrow if Romney and Ryan won't invest in education today.
Meanwhile, the Romney-Ryan campaign announced a series of Republican National Convention watch parties that will take place across Ohio.
Local events include a watch party at the Kenwood Victory Center on Northcreek Drive at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and a Miami University College Republican Convention watch party at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
