Firehouse Subs gives grant to Anderson Fire Dept.

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation awarded a grant on Wednesday to the Anderson Township Fire and Rescue Department.

Valued at more than $15,800, the donation will provide the department with a BullEx fire extinguisher training system. The donated system will allow firefighters to instruct the community on the safe and proper use of fire extinguishers through hands on instruction and demonstrations.

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated more than $4.5 million to public safety entities across the nation and $136,300 in Ohio since 2005.
