Kings Island celebrates end of summer with Dollar Days

The end of summer is just around the corner, but there is still time to visit Kings Island and take advantage of Dollar Days over Labor Day Weekend.

Several items will be sold at the amusement park for just $1, including hot dogs, LaRosa's Pizza, Skyline Chili coneys, blue ice cream and cotton candy. Visitors will also be able to play select games for $1 or less. Special deals and discounts on merchandise will also be available.

Season pass holders can also bring a friend over the weekend for just $19.99 when they show their pass at the front gate admissions window.

Kings Island 2013 Gold season passes will also go on sale for just $79.99 at the park or online. This pass allows for unlimited admission to Kings Island and Soak City during 2013 public operating days and includes free season-long parking.

Guests that purchase a 2013 Gold or Cedar Fair Platinum season pass will be eligible to win great prizes that will be given away hourly, over the entire weekend .

Prize giveaways include a Halloween Haunt Opening Night VIP package, 2013 VIP Tour for four people, framed Kings Island commemorative 40th anniversary park map, Cincinnati Reds package, and more! Guests must be present to win.

Kings Island will be closed to the public after Labor Day until September 21, when the sixth season of Halloween Haunt begins.
