KENTON COUNTY, KY (FOX19) - The golf courses of Kenton County will be participating in the fourth annual Patriot golf day this weekend. The event has raised over $5 million in scholarships over the past three years for spouses and children of military men and women killed or disabled serving our country.
Donations can be made for the Folds of Honor Foundation can be made in the pro-shop or at the first tee of the course. American Express has agreed to match any donation put on an Amex Card. The event is being held at each of the three golf courses in Kenton County, and those who participate can get a free small range basket of calls with any $2 donation. Golfers can also buy a chance to win a Ping G20 driver, and active military personnel play for free with a paying guest.
