City council members speak against Romney-Ryan agenda

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Several Cincinnati officials and area residents gathered for a press conference, following Mitt Romney's visit to the Cincinnati Museum Center on Saturday.

Councilmembers Yvette Simpson and Cecil Thomas, joined by Bishop Bobby Hilton and others were all in attendance.

The press conference highlighted how Romney's plans could negatively affect Cincinnati's middle class.

The Obama for America campaign says following the Republican National Convention, Romney did not provide actual proposals. They don't agree with his plans to end Medicare or to give tax breaks to the wealthy.

The press conference was held right after Romney's event, on the corner of Ezzard Charles Drive and Central Parkway.
