Man charged with stealing cash, cigarettes from UDF

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - An arrest has been made after a robbery at an United Dairy Farmers in August.

Joseph G. Young, 33, of Anderson Township, is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

Police say Young entered the UDF on Beechmont Ave. on Aug. 18, stuck is hand in a jacket pocket to imply he had a weapon, then demanded the cash register be emptied on the counter. He fled the store with the cash and two packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes.

The robbery was captured on surveillance video and released to the media. A Crimestoppers tip identified the suspect as Young. He was served the warrant at the Hamilton County Justice Center, where he is incarcerated on an unrelated charge.
