CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - People who have lost loved ones to suicide gathered for a candlelight vigil in their honor on Wednesday.
The Cincinnati Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention "Lives Remembered, Lives Saved" lit candles on Fountain Square in memory of those lost to suicide. The third annual Vigil on the Square helps families cope with their loss and receive support from others with similar experiences.
Organizers of the free event hope the vigil also spreads a message of prevention to the community. If you would like more information on suicide prevention, you can visit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention website.
