Volunteers help repairs homes of veterans

BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - The Ramp It up for Veterans Campaign kicked off on Thursday with a celebration event and day-of service blitz.

The Home Depot Foundation presented a $155,000 check to People Working Cooperatively (PWC) which will be used for repairs and services for low-income, elderly and disabled veterans. The repairs and services are done to help the veterans live safely and independently in their homes.

More than 225 Home Depot employees and PWC volunteers donated their time and talents for the cause on Thursday by repairing and renovating the homes of 16 veterans.
