Jazz anyone? The Taft Museum celebrates 80 years

A national landmark, which was once a home and took part in William Howard Taft's acceptance of the nomination for the 27th U.S. president plays host to the 13th-annual Jazz Series in honor of the Taft Museum's 80th anniversary.

The event is free for all attendees and starts at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The home and private collection of 690 pieces of art were donated to Cincinnati's citizens in 1927 by the Taft family.

A jewel of the Queen City sets its celebration theme in the 1930's which is quite fitting being that the Baum-Longworth-Taft House opened as the Taft Museum in 1932.
