Professionals and amateurs share stories in the park

OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) - The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County hosted the first Storytelling in the Park event Sunday. Professional and amateur story tellers were able to entertain the whole family at the newly renovated Washington Park in Over-The-Rhine.

Arnice Smith, the New York Times Librarian of the Year was at the event to tell stories just for children.  Professional storytellers Eric Wolf, Omope Carter Daboiku, and Harold and Jonatha Wright showcased their talent on the historic bandstand. Amateur storytellers also had a chance to share their own stories.
