Bush returning to Ohio next week for high-dollar fund-raiser
President Bush is headed back to an affluent Cincinnati suburb next week for a 25-thousand-dollar-per-couple fund-raiser at the home of investor Bill DeWitt. Ohio Republican Party Chairman Bob Bennett says the goal of the event on Monday is to raise two million dollars for the Republican National Committee's Victory 2004 campaign. Under campaign finance laws, individuals can contribute a maximum of two-thousand dollars per candidate and 25-thousand to the national party. This is Bush's second fund-raiser in posh Indian Hill. An event last September at the estate of Carl Lindner raised one and three-quarter million dollars. Bush was last in the Cincinnati area for a campaign rally on May fourth at Cincinnati Gardens, which capped a two-day bus tour through Michigan and Ohio.
