MT. AIRY, OH (FOX19) - Officials say a 29-year-old woman who was killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon was pregnant.
The crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Colerain Avenue and Raeburn Drive.
Police say Jessica Green was driving a Chrysler Pacifica when she crossed the center line and slammed into a Ford Econoline carrying two men and a 4-year-old boy.
Green was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing her seatbelt. According to the Hamilton County coroner's office, Green was pregnant at the time of the crash. It's unknown what stage of pregnancy she was in.
The driver of the Ford, Glen Ellis, 63, was extricated from his vehicle by the Cincinnati Fire Department. Ellis was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
A passenger in Ellis' vehicle, Walter Hamilton, 54, was taken to University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
Antonio Heard, 4, was also a passenger in Ellis' vehicle and was taken to Children's Hospital with minor injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The Traffic Unit continues to investigate this crash.
