Wheel of Fortune is kicking off its 30th season on September 17 and their first season on FOX19 in Cincinnati.
To celebrate, America's Favorite Game Show aims to thank the fans who have kept the show on top all these years with more ways to interact with it, more puzzles to play and more cash to win.
Over the course of the season, new elements will be introduced to the audience including a "$5K Every Day" Cash Giveaway, a Yahoo! Interactive Application, 30th Anniversary mobile game and several "Tweetstakes."
Wheel Watchers Club members will find out that it really pays to watch Wheel of Fortune, when the show debuts the "$5K Every Day" Cash Giveaway in Season 30.
Each night a member's SPIN ID will be revealed making the holder $5000 richer if they log on to claim their prize within 24 hours.
In celebration of the 30th Anniversary, each show will open with a classic clip and during each show, fans will be invited to try to solve classic puzzles from the past 29 seasons. Wheel of Fortune has brought back the fun "Decades" puzzle category.
In game play, contestants will be winning more cash this season. They will now be awarded $500 for every consonant correctly called when they land on a featured prize wedge, a gift tag or ½ Car tag.
Viewers will notice a dazzling new look around the wheel with a seamless screen that spans from Pat's position all the way across the three contestant positions.
Pat and Vanna are also getting in on the fun by answering questions real fans have written into the show as part of a new "Ask Pat & Vanna" segment that will be featured during closing segments. For more information on how to submit questions, viewers can log onto www.WheelofFortune.com.
Throughout the season, Wheel of Fortune will also invite fans to "tweet-to-win" with a "Tweetstakes."
