CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnatians are holding a memorial vigil on Friday for ambassador Christopher Stevens and the three other Americans who were killed this week in Libya.
The vigil begins at 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Clifton Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive and stretching to the corner of Clifton Avenue and Ludlow Avenue.
Organizers are hoping Cincinnatians will come out to honor the Libya envoy.
"Ambassador Stevens started in the Peace Corps and was a bridge building," said Amina Darwish, one of the organizers. "He worked hard for a better Libya, and his loss is a tragedy for both America and Libya."
Attendees are asked to bring American flags and flowers. The flowers are in memory of a beautiful life and the flags are for Stevens' dedication in representing the U.S. around the world.
