Police investigate robberies around UC

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Police are investigating two robberies that occurred over two days around the University of Cincinnati.

At about 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept, 17, police say a suspect grabbed the victim's cell phone and ran. The incident happened in front of Tangeman University Center. The suspect is described as a black male teenager, 5'4" to 5"5" and wearing a long white t-shirt, black pants and carrying a black backpack.

Cincinnati Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, in the 2400 block of Ohio Avenue.

The two suspects, one armed with a handgun, approached the victim, asking for the current time, then demanded his wallet. The victim was struck in the head during the robbery. One suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, wearing a dark T shirt and khaki shorts. The other was described as black male in his 20s, wearing a light colored sweatshirt and blue jeans.
