Subpoena issued for Peterson juror footage
The judge in the Laci Peterson case wants to know exactly what a juror said to the slain woman's brother. He has put out a subpoena for several seconds of TV footage showing juror number five's interaction last week with Brent Rocha. The juror was taped saying the words "could lose today." It's unclear what that was in reference to. Rocha was seen flashing a brief smile at the juror, who has been nodding and smiling at the defense table almost daily.
Meantime, the California murder trial of Peterson's husband is entering its fourth week. It has been projected to last up to five months, but the judge says it's "way ahead of schedule." Scott Peterson is accused of killing his wife and unborn child.
