Man arrested after lengthy meth investigation

BATH, IN (FOX19) -

An Indiana man is behind bars after lengthy methamphetamine investigation.

On Monday, the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section executed a search warrant on New Harmony Road in Bath, Ind.

The investigation was the result of a several month long investigation that was the result of information obtained during a meth investigation in Liberty, Ind. that began late last year and resulted in an arrest in Union County.

Information obtained during the Union County investigation led police to believe methamphetamine was being manufactured at the residence on New Harmony Road.

After several months of investigation, officers obtained enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence. Located during the execution of the search warrant were various items including precursors commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Arrested was Kevin Thomas, 47, of Bath, Ind.  He is facing charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (all Class D Felonies).  He was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
