WINTON PLACE, OH (FOX19) -

A fire ignited in a Winton Place home on Wednesday night.

Crews were called to the home around 7:15 p.m. and found heavy smoke in a one-story house with an attic.

Companies quickly knocked down the fire. Fortunately, no one was home when the fire ignited. A neighbor noticed the smoke and called 911.

31 firefighters battled the fire and no one was injured. Damage is estimated at $20,000.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
