Get well soon, Dusty!

Good morning!

If we had yesterday's weather every day from here on out, I'd be one happy girl! Today is looking pretty similar with a few more clouds and temperatures creeping back up to the mid 70s. Frank Marzullo will have the latest on your current weather conditions and weekend forecast starting at 4 a.m. on FOX19!

Passerbys on I-75 in Monroe now have a new sight to see! The now-dubbed "Hug me Jesus" is standing tall at the Solid Rock Church and aside from a few seams that still need to be filled in, the structure is almost 100% complete. The 51-foot statue will be dedicated on Sept. 30, followed by a service and fireworks display.

If you're a single guy looking to land a date, this just might be your chance! A local fast food chain is helping guys get dates with a little help from the Moms. If you're wondering "what in the world is she talking about?" looks like you'll need to tune-in this morning to get the inside scoop from out very own Brad Underwood!

Reds coach Dusty Baker gave everyone a big scare last night when he was rushed to the hospital to undergo chest x-rays. Thankfully the doctors ruled out pneumonia, but he has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. Jessica Brown will be live with the latest on Dusty's condition and all of us at FOX19 are sending him well wishes!

Despite Dusty being sidelined last night, the Cincinnati Reds still managed to take the win against the Chicago Cubs. Drew Stubbs hit the game winning single during the 11th inning, leading the Reds to their 6-5 win. They will close out the series in Chicago today - first pitch is at 2:20.

Teachers in the Cincinnati Public School district will now have to meet a new list of standards as voted on lat night by the Board of Education. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more on last night's meeting during the FOX19 Morning News.

If you've been tuning into FOX19 this week (which I know you have), you've probably noticed our awesome new program lineup! First, we've tacked on a second hour of the FOX19 Morning Xtra but we've also taken Ricki Lake, Rachael Ray, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy under our broadcast wing! Tricia Macke is hanging out in Hollywood with the stars of our new shows and we'll be hearing from her live this morning at 10:30!

Have a great Thursday and remember, you only have one more day until the weekend! :)
