DANVILLE, KY (FOX19) -

A 29-year-old youth minister from Danville, Ky. is facing charges as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation involving a girl he came in contact with through church.

The mother of a 15-year-old girl contacted police after discovering inappropriate text messages and email communication sent to her daughter from an unknown person.

The girl told detectives that she began communicating with the person after he texted her cell phone looking for another girl.

The man claimed to be an 18-year-old University of Kentucky student named Zachary Blight Carter. She said their conversations via email and text messaging quickly became sexual. She sent the man multiple nude photos of herself at his request and he sent her a nude photo as well.

The investigation led Danville, Ky. On Sept. 18, detectives executed a search warrant and arrested Jonathan David Hall.

Hall is charged with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities. He was lodged in the Boyle County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.

During the investigation, other nude photos of what appear to be juvenile girls were located. Identification of the children, who appear to reside in at least three other states, is ongoing. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.

Anyone with information about a person using the alias Zachary Blight Carter is asked to contact Detective Cassandra Mullins with the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch at (502)782-9769.
