A multi-vehicle wreck in Ottawa County has left two adults and four children dead. County Coroner Gilbert Bucholz says the six were killed when their Cadillac Escalade was forced off Turtle Creek Bridge and into the water. A seventh passenger was flown to Saint Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated and released from a local hospital. Highway Patrol Sergeant Tony Myers says officers think the occupants were returning to the Detroit area from Cedar Point. Two large stuffed SpongeBob SquarePants prizes floated near the sport utility vehicle. The State Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at 11:46 last night at the intersection of state routes two and 19 southeast of Toledo. The road remains closed this morning as officers try to reconstruct what happened.
