Two former daycare workers were sentenced on Tuesday for duct taping a child to a mat.

Alicia Lyons and Justine Rogers both pleaded guilty to criminal abuse. Lyons was placed in a criminal diversion program for five years and ordered to serve 30 days in jail. Rogers was sentenced to 12 months conditional discharge.

Police say Lyons and Rogers duct taped a child to a sleeping mat at Mustard Seeds Child Care in Ludlow in October of last year.
