Suspect on the loose after bank robbery

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Authorities are looking for a suspect who robbed the PNC Bank in Green Township on Tuesday.

Police say the suspect entered the bank at 3:09 p.m. carrying a manila-colored envelope. He handed the envelope to the teller who found a note inside demanding money. The teller placed money inside the envelope before the suspect fled out the front door and jumped over a fence.

No one was injured in the robbery. Authorities say a weapon was implied but never shown during the robbery.

The suspect is a white male between 30 and 40 years old. He is about 6' tall and about 140 pounds with a slender build, brown hair and had a mustache and goatee. He wore a wedding ring and smelled of cigarette smoke.

Police believe he could be responsible for the March 2012 bank robbery at the PNC Bank on Glenway Avenue.

The robbery remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Section. If you have any information, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
