HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Hamilton fire crews battled a fire Thursday morning at the old Champion paper company.
Flames broke out at about 3 a.m. at the company's riverside facility.
Crews were on the scene for almost two hours.
Investigators say sparks from cutting out an old paper machine smoldered in the floor assembly and caught the second floor decking on fire.
A security guard on the scene tried to put water on the blaze before calling the fire department.
No one was hurt.
