Police: Homeless man robs bank, spends money on crack

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - A homeless man has been arrested after police say he robbed a Middletown bank on Thursday.

Authorities say Kenneth Crawford confessed to the robbery of a U.S. Bank. Police found Crawford walking in the area of Verity Parkway and Germantown Road. He is currently homeless and has been staying at motels and with acquaintances.

Crawford didn't have any money on him at the time of his arrest and told authorities he had spent the money on crack cocaine and prostitutes.

Middletown Police say he was arrested in 2008 for a similar offense.
