CARROLL COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

Authorities made three arrests and issued two citations after conducting a check of Carroll County's 45 registered sex offenders on Thursday.

Among those arrested is Patrick Boyle, 47, for failure to comply with the registry, Joshua Hurley, 26, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Harold Williams, 44, for a warrant from Knox County. Williams is not on the sex offender registry, but was residing with a man who is on the registry.

Robert Wentworth, 62, was cited for possession of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brandon Skirvin was cited for possession of marijuana. Skirvin is not on the sex offender registry, but was at the residence of Wentworth.

"For the most part all of them were compliant," said Sheriff Jamie Kinman.

Kinman says three of the sex offenders have active Facebook accounts and complaints will be filed with the County Attorney against Patrick Hill, Gerald Meyer and Mark Turner for the misdemeanor charge of a sexual offender using instant messaging or social networking.

During the check, Sheriff Kinman and the officers went to 40 home and asked permission from the registered sex offenders to search their homes and computers. The recent activity was checked on the computer as well as digital photographs.

"If you see anything we need to be made aware of, please contact us," said Sheriff Kinman. You can call the Sheriff's office at 502-732-7010 or leave an anonymous tip on the Sheriff's website.
