Woman in court after fleeing accident, dragging man

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A woman in custody after police say she hit a car, then tried to flee the scene while dragging the driver of the other car as he tried to stop her.

The hit and run occurred at Darbi Dew Lane off Burgess Road in Colerain Township around 3:30 p.m.

Police say Brandi Lynn Stuntebeck, 31, driving a black Honda, hit a vehicle driven by Donald Brownlee.

Brownlee was leaning into the passenger side window talking to Stuntebeck when she suddenly took off, dragging Brownlee for about three quarters of a mile.

Brownlee suffered injuries to his neck and leg and was taken to University Hospital.

Stuntebeck was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center, charged with felonious assault, failure to stop, speeding and driving under suspension. Her bond was set at $22,100 during arraignment.
