Mayors to meet in Boston
Mayors from around the country are gathering in Boston today for a five day meeting of the US Conference of Mayors.
A Boston police union says it'll protest Boston Mayor Tom Menino throughout the gathering. The union has been working without a contract. Union leaders say they're planning to picket at conference events and hoist a banner from a boat that will cruise past one event.
During the convention, mayors will be releasing a new homeland security report, and a report on new jobs and the economy.
