COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - -
The suspect accused of shooting a Covington police officer was in court on Wednesday.
Pharo Wilson, 26, was arrested Friday afternoon after exchanging gunfire with four officers before leading them on a 12-hour manhunt.
Police say Spc. Mark Richardson was shot in the foot during the gunfire, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Wilson was being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center before waiving extradition on Tuesday morning.
He is now being held at the Kenton County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
Police believe Wilson shot at officers from an elevated position on the second floor on an apartment building after they responded to a robbery in the City Heights neighborhood around 5 a.m. on Friday. Covington Police Chief Spike Jones says officers were located on an exposed area outside the apartments on ground level.
All involved officers have been placed on leave according to department policy.
