It's starting to feel like Halloween at FOX19

Get ready for a gorgeous day in the Tristate! Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that we can expect a few clouds and some fog for your morning commute, but this afternoon will be nothing but blue skies with highs in the upper 70s. Katy and Frank will have more on your current weather conditions and seven-day forecast this morning on FOX19!

The big topic this morning is none other than last night's Presidential debate. According to a poll on CNN, 67% of those who watched the first debate think Romney came out on top. President Obama and Mitt Romney will go head-to-head again on October 16th for the second of three debates in New York.

A Northern Kentucky Youth Football coach has been suspended...again. Craig Ruber was kicked out of the league last year after he had his players circle around an opponent's t-shirt and pee on it. Sources have told FOX19 that 24 players participated while 4 of them refused. There is also speculation that Ruber offered money to his players if they intentionally hurt a player on the opposing team.

The city of Villa Hills is expected to respond to a civil lawsuit made by the Mayor today. Mike Martin is facing removal of office after he was accused of misconduct and neglect of his official duties. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have more information on the lawsuit filed during the FOX19 Morning News.

The city of Lawrenceburg is about to experience a huge business boom downtown. Five new businesses are getting ready to open their doors as part of the Pop Up Shop contest sponsored by Lawrenceburg Main Street, Inc. The non-profit's goal is to rejuvenate downtown Lawrenceburg and make it a vibrant business district.

After a long and exciting regular season, we now know who our Cincinnati Reds will take on in the first game of the NLDS! We will take the mound against the San Francisco Giants this Saturday at 9:37 p.m. Although the opponents are still unknown for the next week, you can check out the Reds' schedule by clicking here.

It might still be just the beginning of October, but we're already getting excited about Halloween at the station! Coming up in the FOX19 Morning Xtra, we have several spooky guests paying us a visit to tell you all about the Halloween happenings in our area. All I can say is that Stephanie Woods better be on her toes this morning! :)

That wraps up your news making headlines this morning - as always, you can get these stories and much more during the FOX19 Morning News or by paying a visiting to our web site!

Happy Thursday! I'll talk to you tomorrow!
