Versailles, IN (FOX19) -

A Dillsboro woman is facing charges after police say she was stealing funds from an Indiana truck stop.

Tammera Jones, 44, is charged with two counts of theft.

According to Indiana State Police, Jones was a trusted employee of Kennett Truck Stop and Kennett River City Marathon for many years.  In October 2010 she was promoted to manager and tasked with the responsibility of depositing money from the businesses into the bank as well as filling the Automatic Teller Machines at both locations.

The investigation revealed between October 2010 and March 2012 Jones allegedly embezzled over $25,000 from the businesses.  She was arrested on Wednesday without incident and taken to the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
