Republican congressional candidate Geoff Davis received some help from the White House Monday. Vice President Dick Cheney attended a fund-raising reception and lunch for Davis at the Cincinnati Airport Marriott Hotel in Hebron.
For two-thousand dollars, guests attended a VIP reception and got their photo taken with the Vice President. The cost of the lunch was 250-dollars. The Davis campaign made about 160-thousand-dollars at the fundraiser.
Davis is running against Democrat Nick Clooney for Kentucky's Fourth District seat held by Democratic Representative Ken Lucas of Richwood. Lucas is not running for re-election and is supporting Clooney.
