Harrison Twins Choose UK

(RICHMOND, TX.) After plenty of speculation and a long recruiting battle, two of the top guards in the class of 2013 have decided to play their college basketball at the University of Kentucky.

In front of a national TV audience, Aaron and Andrew Harrison made their decision public to the cheers of their Fort Bend High School (TX.) classmates. Both players are considered the best in the nation at their position, Aaron is a shooting guard, and Andrew is a point guard. The two players said they wanted to go to a place and win immediately. "We just sat down one night and decided that we just wanted to somewhere that we wanted to win and knew we could win as soon as we get there," said Aaron. "I think Coach Calipari presented a challenge for us. He just told us from day one it was going to be hard and he was going to push us everyday. And that's what we wanted to hear. We just want to become better players," agreed Andrew.

The twins picked UK over Maryland and Southern Methodist University. Andrew sited a trip to Kentucky's Midnight Madness last season as a key moment in their recruitment. "Last year we went to Midnight Madness. It was crazy! Soon as me and Aaron got off the plane, people knew who we were. We were signing autographs and taking pictures with little kids and stuff, so we kinda felt like rock stars, but that's not really why we went. We went because of the basketball," said Andrew.

By landing the Harrison Twins, UK's recruiting class figures to be, once again, number one in the country, but obviously, Calipari is not done. UK is mentioned on just about every top recruit's list of schools they are considering. With a national championship and two number one draft picks under his belt, don't look for John Calipari to slow down anytime soon.
